This project was an art school that would also be open to the local community. The bottom floors would be open to the public, as you ascend you will enter the private areas of the school that would hold the art students. The project was inspired by the views of the local river to allow students to enjoy the view that the Austin hill country has to offer. Private and public spaces were introduced in the idea of positive and negative spaces within the architecture. Allowing for privacy when needed and as public interaction for cross-pollination within the different disciplines in art academia.
